Director Chor Yuen once again takes a chapter out of author Gu Long's works with Clans of Intrigue, an exciting and surprising Shaw Brothers film starring the charismatic Di Lung! A masked villain is terrorizing the martial arts world, and all signs point to the use of the deadly Magic Water from the Magic Water Palace. Palace representative Kung Nan Yen (Nora Miao) accuses noted swordsman Chu Liu Hsiang (Di Lung) of the Magic Water's theft, but he professes his innocence and vows to find the real culprit. His journey takes him through the treacherous World of Martial Arts, as he meets mysterious characters and even uncovers a startling secret that may prove to be the key to clearing his name! Featuring a thoroughly involving and twist-laden martial arts storyline, Clans of Intrigue ups the entertainment ante with love triangles and mystical gender switches, adding a layer of fantasy to an already packed martial arts epic!
